Isabella de la Llave: Head of Marketing at Grooni Wellness

Isabella de la Llave leads marketing at Grooni Wellness, where the brand builds recovery technology across PEMF and grounding. She writes at the intersection of two things she lives on both sides of: how wellness brands earn trust and grow, and what recovery actually looks like when you commit to it.
A marketer first
Isabella has spent most of her career in marketing — across the US and LATAM, in startups and established brands, working on consumer products in multiple categories. She understands how growth really works: how brands get built, and what actually moves people from attention to action. Alongside her role at Grooni, she runs KDS, her own studio focused on wellness and health brands.
Why wellness, and why now
A few years ago, wellness stopped being background noise in her life. Burnout has a way of forcing that clarity — living on autopilot, not sleeping well, watching stress compound quietly over time. She started taking recovery seriously not because it was trending, but because she needed to. That shift changed how she trained, how she thought about energy, and what she wanted to spend her professional life on.
She didn't plan to merge marketing and wellness. It happened because she couldn't keep them separate.
What she writes about here
Her work on the Grooni blog lives at that intersection: how wellness brands grow, what AI-powered marketing looks like when you're the one running it, and what brand-building really requires in a category where skepticism is the default. She writes from experience on both sides of it — and for Isabella, that's the point.
