A Grooni Grounding Mat is a conductive bed mat that reconnects your body to the Earth's natural electrical field while you sleep. Both Grooni mat formats aredesigned to work placed under your regular fitted sheet, direct skin contact is not required. That said, direct skin contact always produces the fastest and strongest grounding effect, and the Plush Mat's organic cotton surface makes sleeping directly on it just as comfortable as sleeping on a regular sheet. Setup takes under two minutes and requires no tools:

1) Use the included outlet tester to confirm your bedroom outlet is properly grounded, not all three-prong outlets in homes are connected to a ground, particularly in homes built before the 1960s.

3) Snap the grounding cord onto the connector at the mat's edge.
